FSTAR Townhall in Orange County, CA on April 1st

The Orange County Fire Department, in association with the International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC) and UL Firefighter Safety Research Institute (FSRI) present a Firefighter Safety Through Advanced Research (FSTAR) Townhall. The FSTAR Townhall will be held on Friday, April 1, 2016 from 9am to 4pm.

The townhall is a one-day training event focused on modern fire behavior research, science and the tactical considerations that can be used to reduce risk to firefighters operating on structure fires.

Event Location:            Salvation Army Tustin Ranch • 10200 Pioneer Road • Tustin, CA 92782

Lunch:                             Will be provided by California Training Officer’s Association, $10.00 donations will be accepted

There will be two speakers: Dan Madrzykowski of UL Firefighter Safety Research Institute (FSRI), Chief Derek Alkonis of the Los Angeles (CA) County Fire Department.
